Lengard is currently on site, working as constructor for the development of Eveline Lowe Primary School.
Eveline Lowe was built in the 1960’s as one of the very first open plan configured schools. The eastern-side buildings were Listed Grade II in 2006. The project will integrate the refurbishment of the existing school buildings and the replacement of all temporary buildings with a new structure, which will expand the school by 30%. This will allow the school to grow as a two form entry school able to offer a range of services to the community beyond core primary education.
The school’s pupils will be fully decanted to a neighbouring school during the construction. Lengard have erected a time lapse camera that will be linked to the schools secure website. The whole school community has been very involved in the design of this project and Lengard will ensure that this involvement grows throughout the cycle of the project.
